The activity made possible through support provided by the U. S. Agency for International Development (USAID) through the USAID’s Agriculture Growing Rural Opportunities Activity (AGRO) implemented by Chemonics International

The purpose of this program is to increase the availability of credit products for the recovery and development of micro, small and medium-sized agricultural producers (MSMEs), which currently need the most support; strengthening of national and global food security by supporting strategic areas of production of grain and oil crops by providing MSMEs with commodity lending tools.


Commodity lending — shipment of goods with deferred payment


List of groups of goods that participate in the commodity lending program*:


• Seeds
• Crop protection products
• Micro fertilizers
• Fertilizers and/or fuel**

The program is valid throughout the territory of Ukraine, excluding the occupied territories.

Participants of the program are micro, small and medium agricultural producers who meet the following criteria:

• Annual revenue — up to 15 million USD including VAT
• The number of employees is up to 300 people

Forms of lending:


• Without pledge— for credit limits up to UAH 500,000 including VAT (with a positive decision of the credit committee)
• With pledge— for credit limits over UAH 500,000 including VAT

Types of pledge:

• Commodity agricultural receipt
• Financial agricultural receipt
• Other options convenient for the farmer upon agreement with the credit committee

List of crops for commodity agricultural receipt*

• A complete package of products from sowing to harvesting from the assortment of Agro Arena LLC
• Fertilizers and/or fuel on credit on terms of 0/100 (0% prepayment)
• The possibility of calculating the future harvest with an additional premium of UAH 100/ton
• No restrictions on minimum land bank and application amount
• Leaf diagnosis of plants in the field is included in the package of program services
• Consultative agronomic support at all stages of cultivation
