Competition "Pesticides. Everything
under control"
We announce the start of the "Pesticides.
Everything is under control" contest for participants of the "Farmer, Loan for you"
commodity lending project, which "Agro Arena" implements with the support of the USAID’s
Agriculture Growing Rural Opportunities Activity (AGRO)!
The purpose of the competition is
to promote compliance with the rules of handling pesticides, including transportation,
storage, application of pesticides and disposal of containers. Participants will have the
opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and experience in these important aspects of
agribusiness.
Terms of the competition:
1. Who can take part in the
contest?
Participants of the commodity lending program"Farmer, Loan for you" from "Agro Arena".
2. The term of the competition: from April 19 to April 30, 2024.
3. Everyone who answered the question correctly (80 points out of 100) and submitted a photo will receive prizes - sets of personal protective equipment (PPE), namely: safety glasses, a protective half-mask with filtering elements, a protective coverall and tight gloves. On May 6, 2024, we will choose 5 winners and give away corn seeds for sowing on 20 hectares!
4.What must be done to participate in the competition?
Answer the questions correctly and provide photos of good practices in compliance with the requirements:
photo of the warehouse where pesticides are stored;
PPE used when applying pesticides;
a case regarding the disposal of used containers.
